Project Overview
Bringing an aged local favourite into the modern digital world
The owner of an authentic British pub needed to take his company website out of the 90s. The pub, first established in 1998, operates a mini craft brewery supplying beer to the locals and expats in a lively Tokyo borough. It was important to him to have a platform to promote events and inform those visiting Japan as tourism was booming.
After, discussing his out of date presence on the internet we decided to build something bespoke but to a budget. The old website lacked decent images and stock photos wouldn't tell the story of his pub so in addition to a new build we had an onsite photo shoot.

The Result
A fresh website design enhanced by expressive photos
As we were working to a budget and the pub lacked any solid branding a simple design using predominately neutral colours was implemented. The images were to be the main feature of the website. The client, a former stock photographer, was impressed by the outcome and was overly satisfied with how he and his pub were represented.
The new structure allowed the client to easily update the menus and manage the events to be held at the pub. The project outcome was a stark contrast to what it replaced, a SEO friendly mobile responsive website that pushed the business to a new level in the digital world.
You went over and above, mate. I owe you a few drinks for that. Let me know when you are dropping in.
